A huge accomplishment for the Occupy Movement has been changing people’s mind about media literacy. After witnessing who was covering the brutality & arrests & who was not, Americans can really see that mainstream media outlets are owned by corporations whose interests they need to protect.

For the ones who are interested in the last post I made about Slavoj Zizeks idea’s on architecture and antagonism, there is also a nice text of David Harvey, ‘The Right to the City’. It’s about the development of our city and the rise of contemporary capitalism (since 1850) and how this system always ends up in a crisis (as we are in now).
